YOUTH & SPORTS PERFORMANCE COACHING
Train with purpose. Move with confidence. Build a foundation that lasts.
At American Strength, we work with youth and high school athletes who want more than just a workout—they want to understand how to train.
Whether they’re in-season, off-season, or just getting started in the gym, we focus on building proper movement, strength, and confidence that carries over into sport and everyday life.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most young athletes are already lifting.
But many are:
• Guessing through movements
• Rushing through reps
• Missing key technique and positioning
• Following programs without understanding them
We bridge that gap.
Our coaching is built around teaching, not just training.
WHAT WE FOCUS ON
✔ Movement & Technique First
Squat, hinge, press, pull—done correctly. We teach how to move, not just what to do.
✔ Strength That Transfers to Sport
Speed, power, stability, and control—built through proper strength training.
✔ Injury Prevention & Longevity
Better movement = fewer setbacks. We address imbalances before they become problems.
✔ Gym Confidence & Independence
We teach athletes how to walk into any gym and know exactly what they’re doing.
✔ Understanding Training
How to follow a program, progress over time, and train with intent—not just effort.

WHY IT MATTERS
Strength training isn’t just about lifting more weight.
It’s about:
• Moving efficiently
• Producing power safely
• Building a resilient body
• Learning habits that last beyond sport
The athletes who succeed long-term aren’t just the ones who train hard—they’re the ones who train well.
START WITH A SESSION
Every athlete starts by learning how they move.
From there, we build a plan that actually fits them—not just their sport.

FOR PARENTS
You want your athlete to get stronger, stay healthy, and build confidence—without getting hurt or lost in the crowd.
That’s where we come in.
At American Strength, we don’t just run athletes through workouts—we coach them.
We focus on:
• Teaching proper movement and technique
• Building strength safely and progressively
• Creating confidence in the gym environment
• Helping athletes understand what they’re doing—and why
Many athletes are already lifting in school or for their sport, but they often don’t get individual feedback on how they move.
We fill that gap.
Your athlete will learn:
✔ How to lift with proper form
✔ How to train safely and effectively
✔ How to follow a program and progress
✔ How to take ownership of their training
This isn’t just about performance—it’s about setting them up with skills they’ll use for life.
WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE
Every athlete is coached—not just supervised.
Sessions may include:
• Movement assessment (how they squat, hinge, move, stabilize)
• Warm-up and activation specific to their needs
• Strength training focused on technique and control
• Coaching cues and real-time corrections
• Education on how and why we train
We meet athletes where they’re at and build from there.
YOUTH TRAINING FAQ
Do athletes need experience before starting?
No. Many athletes come in with little to no experience. We teach everything from the ground up.
My child already lifts for their sport—will this still help?
Yes. This is where we refine technique, fix movement patterns, and make sure they’re getting the most out of their training.
Is this sport-specific training?
We focus on building a strong, well-moving athlete first. Strength, stability, and control carry over to every sport.
Do you offer team or group training?
Yes. We work with small groups and teams while still providing coaching and individual feedback.
Is this safe for younger athletes?
Yes. Everything is coached, progressed appropriately, and focused on proper technique—not just weight.
How often should my athlete train?
Most athletes benefit from 1–3 sessions per week depending on their schedule, sport, and experience level.
How do we get started?
Start with a session. We’ll assess how your athlete moves and build from there.
