
SE Raw Showdown
USAPL Southeast Raw Showdown is in the books. A big thanks to Kyle Milnes and crew for putting on a great show. To all the lifters congratulations, you put it out there and gave it your all. The American Strength Crew who did a fantastic job, we are proud of all of you. Our lone ladies entry Teal foster had a 187 Sq, 100 bench and 204 deadlift, Jake Pikow in his last meet as a Junior finished 2nd with 512 sq-336 bench- 507 deadlift. Jake Kirsch in his 1st meet had a 518 sq- 352 bench- 567 deadlift for a 2nd place finish in the Mens Open 205-231 class, D.L. Diltz in the Mens Masters recorded a 292 Sq-226 bench-407 dead, Dave Morin in the Mens Open had 501 Sq- 397 bench- 529 deadlift, Tom Wamstad our resident do it all strongman/olympic lifting/powerlifting showed why he can with a 440 Squat-364 bench-529 deadlift, and Jake Immerman finished 1st in the Mens open heavyweights with a 490 Squat-369 bench-and a big 601 deadlift on an injured hip. Thanks also go out to our members who helped with both the meet and coaching and supporting our lifters, Dan McDonald, Cheri Schouweiler, Jenna Kronig, Shannon Murphy, and Cynthia Dorau.

Twin Ports Raw Open 2016
American Strength was well represented and brought home some medals as well. D.L. Diltz competed in the masters 3 and placed 1st. Charlie Fernow competed as a junior (under 23) placed 2nd. Shannon Murphy took home a 1st place medal and a state record Bench. Great job everyone!
USAPL Women Of Steel
This was our 1st ever Women only USAPL meet in the state of Minnesota Congratulations to all of the USAPL Women of Steel Competitors. You all did a fantastic job and we are excited to see you again next year.
